I found this recipe at this time last year, butnever got around to making until now. They had a nice fresh taste, but they didn't live up to my high pumpkin-lover expectations. I found the cookie a bit too moist for a whoopie pie, but delish nonetheless.

I added some cinnamon and nutmeg to the filling so it's flavour would compliment the cookie. A good choice, if I do say so myself. :)
